From deep bedrock selection to seaport lashing, see how we guarantee international quality standard compliance.
We maintain precise control over all quarrying, production, packing, and dispatch operations to deliver flawless natural stones.
Lorven Experts' geo-technicians select structurally flawless granite blocks directly from licensed quarry veins across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. We screen blocks to ensure structural density, zero micro-faults, and color tone uniformity.
Blocks are transported to modern processing hubs and sliced using multi-blade Italian gangsaw and wire-saw machinery. This guarantees uniform slab thickness (calibrated precisely to 20mm, 30mm, or custom 40mm profiles).
To eliminate natural pores and optimize stone longevity, slabs are coated with high-performance epoxy resins. Slabs are baked inside dedicated temperature-controlled vacuum chambers to cure the sealants deeply.
We calibrate the back of every slab using diamond-segmented planetary heads, establishing absolute flatness and preventing structural warping during countertop installation.
Slabs undergo high-speed polishing utilizing 20-head automated polishing systems. This results in mirror-like gloss levels exceeding 95 gloss units on Absolute Black and Black Galaxy varieties.
Independent quality assurance inspectors evaluate every slab individually. Slabs are measured for length, width, diagonal accuracy, thickness tolerance (+/- 1mm), and surface spot discrepancies.
Slabs are loaded into custom-built, heavy-duty wooden crates lined with foam sheets and corner protectors. Every wooden crate is stamped under IPPC ISPM-15 fumigation standards to clear custom quarantine checks.
Containers are loaded at our warehouse using heavy duty forklifts. Slabs are secured within 20ft containers using nylon lashing belts and wooden wedges to prevent shifting during maritime transit.
Containers are transported by rail or road to major seaports (Chennai, Vizag, or Mundra) for customs clearance and loaded onto vessels bound for North America, Europe, Australia, or the Middle East.
B2B shipping is governed by target country weight limits. For European and American markets, we load containers up to approximately 21–27 metric tons. This translates to:
